Relief Concert, GoFundMe Established for Waltham Hair Salon After Fire

Evolve Hair Design was severely damaged in a March 11 fire.

WALTHAM, MA – Members of the Waltham community are rallying around a local hair salon after a fire severely damaged the building and put the three stylists out of work. The Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation will host a concert benefit and silent auction next Friday, April 28 to raise money for Evolve Hair Design stylists Peg West, Michelle Selden and Sheri D. Szatkowski.

The Evolve building at 580 Moody Street, as well as the supplies and tools inside, was severely damaged in a March 11 fire. Without their supplies, the stylists can't get back to work.

The April 28 fundraiser will feature music from Slim Jim and The Mad Cows, food and drink and a silent auction. All net proceeds will benefit the salon and its stylists. Tickets are $25 and will be available at the door.
