RESULTS: State Rep., 9th Middlesex District
Democratic incumbent State Rep. Tom Stanley and independent challenger Sharon Antia were on the ballot.

Democratic incumbent State Rep. Tom Stanley defeated independent challenger Sharon Antia Tuesday to retain his 9th Middlesex District seat, according to the AP.
According to unofficial results, Stanley received about 72 percent of the vote, Antia 28 percent.

The 9th Middlesex District covers Lincoln and portions of Waltham. Stanley, of Waltham, was first elected to the seat in 2001.
