School, City Building Roofs Being Evaluated

All school roofs are being evaluated, and some snow removal on these roofs will be done over the weekend, according to an announcement from the city.

“We are awaiting the evaluation on the roofs with solar panels and have inquired from Ameresco as to what can be done with those roofs with solar panels,” said the release.

Municipal roofs were also evaluated and Waltham will contract out to remove the snow on the gymnasium roof of the Waltham Community and Cultural Center (former South Middle School).
