Special Election In Waltham's Ward 6: Nabulime Vs Durkee
There's a special election Tuesday, Sept. 25 in Ward 6 as Sean Durkee and Sharline Nabulime face off to fill the empty council seat.

WALTHAM, MA — If you've noticed the signs around and the faces of two Waltham Ward 6 residents a lot, that's because there's an election about to happen. Tuesday, Sept. 25 there's a special election in Ward 6 as Sean Durkee and Sharline Nabulime face off to fill the council seat left empty by Robert Waddick, who resigned in May to apply for the City Clerk position, which he now has.
Some 19 percent of Waltham voters showed up to cast votes for the preliminary election in August.
And first-time candidate Nabulime heartily won against several on the ballot. But Durkee who came in second place, was just endorsed by third-place finisher Chuck Smerlas. Durkee also got an endorsement from Waltham Democrats. >> Waltham Democratic City Committee Endorses Sean Durkee for Ward 6
