U.S. Att. General Speaks at Summit on Opioid Addiction in Waltham

U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch addressed the growing heroin problem at a Massachusetts summit on opioid addiction in Waltham.

At the summit on Friday at the headquarters of the Massachusetts Medical Society, Lynch described a multi-faceted approach to address the issue, reported CBS Boston.

Lynch explained that her department is focused on stopping, or disrupting, the “pill mill,” which is illegally supplied prescription drugs.

Hundreds of pharmacists, physicians and police officers attended the summit.
