Walden Behavioral Care Names Davalur AVP, CIO
Previously Worked With Walden Senior Management at Choate

Walden Behavioral Care, LLC, , one of the country’s leading hospitals for treating eating disorders, announced today that it has named Inderjith Davalur of Waltham to the position of Assistant Vice President, Chief Information Officer.
The appointment reunites Davalur with Walden CEO and President Stuart Koman, Ph.D., and Senior Vice President Margaret Moran, with whom he worked at their previous venture, Choate Medical Systems of Boston, where he served as MIS director in the mid-’90s.
Davalur, who has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare information technology, will be responsible for all aspects of Walden’s IT and data analytics.

Before coming to Walden, he served as Vice President of Continental Hospitals in Hyderabad, India, where he was the CIO at a hospital. Joining before the hospital opened, he initiated a customized EMR system, and developed several internal software applications, billing procedures and security policies.
Before joining Continental, he was the Group Chief Information Officer for Global Hospitals Group in Hyderabad. He also served as CEO of Aosta Software Technologies India Ltd. in Chennai, India.

Before that, he worked for in several healthcare IT positions in the U.S., including positions with IMNET/HBOC-McKesson [D1] in Marietta, Ga.; the Georgia Department of Health in Atlanta, and Choate Medical Systems and New England Medical Center in Boston.
Davalur earned an MBA from PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, India, and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
