Waltham Election Papers Due Today
It's only June, but the election is shaping up to be a contest.

WALTHAM, MA — The elections for School Committee, City Councilor and Councilors at Large aren't until November, but by the end of the day today, anyone who is interested in throwing their hat in the political ring must do so.
And it's shaping up to be a contest compared to years past when many have run unopposed. This time it looks like only three wards won't be contested. Three Waltham School Committee seats will also be up for grabs.
By 5 p.m. anyone who plans to run for an open seat in local government has to return the paperwork from City Hall with 50 signatures from folks in the city ostensibly supporting their run.
