Waltham Will Officially Declare 'Snow Emergency'

CPW will be declaring a snow emergency for 6 p.m. on Monday evening, according to a city announcement.

Wires Department personnel will be going out at 5 p.m. with bull horn notices to get the cars off the streets, in addition to a Reverse 911 about the snow emergency. Cars must be off the roads, municipal lots will be available after 4:30 p.m.

City offices will be closed on Tuesday, but the City’s Command Center will be operational as of 11 a.m. Monday. Trash pick-up is delayed one day.
