Waltham Year In Review: 2018 Top Stories
What was the event this year that you thought was most important in Waltham this year?

WALTHAM, MA — This year just didn't stop in Waltham. From all the closing restaurants and news of new ones like the new Ramen and Sushi Bar and then Mighty Squirrel Craft Brewery opening to movement on renovating the police station to the sad news that retired Waltham City clerk passed away suddenly, there was plenty to talk about in the Watch City.
But the story that got the most attention was the polarizing question of what Waltham should do when it comes to the Stigmatine property and the new high school. It split the city and ended with some passionate speeches in the City Council Chamber at City Hall. In the end Waltham City Council Voted To Take Stigmatine Property by eminent domain.
Another major conversation that kicked up concern was the fate of Waltham Fields Community Farm.
