WAYLAND, MA — The Wayland Board of Selectmen on Thursday will likely select an interim chief administrator as Town Manager Louise Miller prepares to depart for a new role in Framingham.

The town is using executive search firm Community Paradigm Associates — the same company that helped the town hire police Chief Sean Gibbons — to find an interim town manager. The company contacted 55 potential candidates and have narrowed the list down to four:

  • Stephen Crane, who most recently served as town manager in Concord and Longmeadow. He also previously worked in economic development in Worcester and Lowell.
  • Stephen Delaney, who has served as an interim town manager in both Lexington and Winchendon
  • Steven Ledoux, a former Sudbury, Westford and Acton town manager
  • David Williams, who was recently town administrator in Sherborn, and was an assistant town manager in both Framingham and Weston

Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky has hired Miller to serve as the city's new chief financial officer. She is expected to start in the new role by around Jan. 22.
