Natick Photographer Starts Up Photography Club at Wayland School
Retired teacher Conrad Gees is starting his club for fifth graders. Registration is open.

Led by recently retired teacher, Conrad Gees, the Grade Five Photography Club is starting at Happy Hollow School on Monday, Nov. 24. The enrollment deadline is Wednesday, Nov. 12. There will be four classes from 3 to 4:30 pm.
No experience is necessary, and digital cameras are provided for each student to use for the entire program. Class dates are: Nov. 24, Dec. 1, Dec. 8 and Dec. 15. The maximum enrollment is 12 students. A second round of classes beginning in January will be offered if enrollment is sufficient. Last year, 36 Happy Hollow students participated in three different rotations of the club.

Since he retired, Gees has been pursuing his photography interests and has a studio in downtown Natick. He is currently leading a Photography Club at Loker School and will rotate through the elementary schools this academic year.

Registration forms are also available in Happy Hollow’s front lobby near the BASE table. The club is offered through Wayland School Community Programs, Community Education.
