Planning Board Talks Plans for Westborough State Hospital Grounds

ANR plans for the Westborough State Hospital land top the agenda for the Westborough Planning Board meeting, which is open to the public, next week.

Westborough residents, earlier in the spring, gathered for a brainstorming meeting to talk about the land, which the town purchased for $2.2 million after the hospital closed down, and the bill was approved to buy it, reported the Telegram and Gazette.

Also on the docket for the meeting is the appointment of new officers, and a special public permit discussion for Laser Craze, which is looking to open on Milk Street.

There is a Laser Craze in North Andover and Woburn.

The Planning Board meeting takes place on Tuesday. Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. at the Forbes Municipal Building.
