Traffic Alert, Info For Westborough Spring Festival

WESTBOROUGH, MA—Westborough's Spring Festival takes place on Saturday, June 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the soccer fields of the former State Hospital.

Westborough police wanted to share a few details relating to time, parking and transportation on the day of the festival.

• Parking will include marked lots surrounding the fields.
• There is an open house at the Mass Fish and Wildlife Building on Rabbit Hill Road (Former Lyman School property) 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Gates to the property will be locked at 4 p.m. Shuttle transportation is available from the soccer fields.
• Westborough's 300th Anniversary Fireworks kickoff will take place starting at 5 p.m. with the fireworks scheduled for 9:30 on Lake Chauncy. There will be a band concert on the soccer field before the fireworks. Parking is available around the soccer fields, Julios Plaza and Stagecoach Plaza with shuttle transportation available from these two locations.
• Lake Chauncy Beach will be open, but no coolers or back packs are allowed. This will be strictly enforced.
• There are VIP parking passes for sale through the 300th Committee at their store in Julio's Plaza. This parking is in front of Allen Hall. This lot open at 3 PM.
• EXPECT TRAFFIC DELAYS STARTING AT 5 PM WITH HEAVY TRAFFIC AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE FIREWORKS
