Minutes before the 2:00pm dismissal bell, we received a phone call that was unsettling and caused us to contact the Plymouth Police Department. As a result of this call, we cancelled all activities and we dismissed all students. In addition, we had an increased police presence in our parking lots.

The Plymouth Police Department responded immediately and along with the school administrators, did a search of the building and determined that nothing was amiss. Moving forward, we feel very confident that the building is secure.

Athletes without transportation, who have away competitions this evening, were sent to Plymouth South Middle School with their coaches.

We have learned that multiple high schools throughout Massachusetts received a similar automated call right before 2:00pm.

Please do not hesitate to contact the high school with any questions or concerns and have a great long weekend!”
