WESTON, MA — Weston's Conservative Lands and Trails announced on Thursday that an emergency order had been issued. The order will help slow the spread of the virus and keep residents safe.

A mandatory leash order on all property in Weston was put in place. Cat Rock was also closed to all non-Weston residents — the town said the area has seen a dramatic increase in visitation and has been ordered closed in the interest of public safety. Visitation will be monitored.

The town is encouraging residents to practice social distancing and to observe the 'No Parking' signs placed in parks and trails.
