Kindergarten Program Returns to Weston's Regis College
The school discontinued the program two years ago amid changes to its Children's Center.

Weston, MA – Regis College is bringing back its kindergarten program as part of its Children's Center.
The program was discontinued two years ago amid changes to the center, but Regis has announced its return as the Children's Center experiences widespread success.
According to the Regis College website, enrollment has increased from 10 students to an expected 44 in the fall.

Most of the Children's Center's students come from Weston and its surrounding communities, including Wellesley and Wayland.
"Parents love our flexible offerings including the new kindergarten program," Rebecca Putnam, director of the Children's Center, said in a press release on the Regis College website. "But mostly they love that we are so integrated with Regis' dynamic campus."

Children at the center, ranging from 15 months to six years old, participate in a wide range of programming, from science and athletics to establishing global connections.
This past school year, students connected with children at the Be Like Brit Orphanage in Haiti, developing relationships over Skype.
Regis has made great strides in improving medical care through its nursing education program in Haiti, according to the release.
