Boston City Councilor Matt O’Malley will hold two Town Hall-style meetings in West Roxbury and Jamaica Plain in March in an effort to create an open dialogue about the important issues facing the communities of District 6.
“I encourage everyone in the neighborhoods to attend my Town Meetings,” said O’Malley, who represents West Roxbury and Jamaica Plain, through a press release. “I am excited to share my progress with the community and hear their ideas on how we can work together to strengthen our community.”
The Jamaica Plain Town Meeting will be held on Monday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Connolly Branch Library, 433 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain.

The West Roxbury Town Meeting will be held on Monday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. the West Roxbury Branch Library, 1961 Centre Street in West Roxbury.
Among the topics Councilor O’Malley plans to discuss are snow removal, the city’s upcoming budget process, economic and business development, public safety, and the initiatives he has been working on since taking office.

“The city’s budget season is quickly approaching,” said Councilor O’Malley. “I am eager to hear what the community has to say as we enter the budget process. I strongly urge residents to join me and make their voices heard.”
