Dedham Man Arrested for Driving Drunk on East Street

Westwood Police arrested a Dedham man on Saturday for an alleged second OUI offense on East Street.
Joseph Thissell, 42, of 40 Tarbox St. in Dedham, was charged with a second offense of operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor, as well as negligent operation of a motor vehicle so as to endanger and a marked lanes violation.
Thissell was arrested after police responded to the East Street rotary, where police and Emergency Medical Service officials were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident.
