Mercedes-Benz Customer Injures Manager

A customer at the dealership slammed a car door on a manager's leg, police said.

The manager of a loaner program at the dealership reported to police on Friday, March 26, that a customer slammed a car door on her leg.

The manager stated that, on March 24, she was assisting the return of a vehicle that had been loaned out from the dealership. The customer reportedly had complaints about the vehicle and became frustrated with the customer service she was receiving.

As a result of her frustrations, the customer tried to leave the scene in an expedient manner, and slammed the door of the vehicle on the manager's left leg, which was hanging outside of the car, according to police reports.

Westwood Police filed the report of the incident, though it was not immediately clear what the intent of the customer was. The make of the vehicle involved was not listed in reports.
