One Injured in Morning Collision on High Street

One person was injured with non-life threatening injuries in a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of High Street and North Street in Westwood on Tuesday morning, Westwood Police said.

The incident, which was reported at around 10:18 a.m. Tuesday, occurred when a 2010 Nissan and a 2002 Hyundai collided in the area. 

The victim of the incident was transported to Norwood Hospital, though police would not specify the extent of the injuries. 

Police had no more details as of noon on Tuesday. Westwood Patch will provide more information as it becomes available.
