She plans to listen closely to staff and families while strengthening the integrated preschool program and supporting Westwood students in specialized placements, emphasizing inclusive, student-centered decisions and the town's strong sense of community. 
• Westwood School Committee Member Running in Berlin Marathon for Boston Children's Hospital (town.news) — Westwood School Committee member Tony Mullin is training for the BMW-Berlin Marathon to raise funds for Boston Children's Hospital, which once treated his daughter. The longtime resident has already raised tens of thousands through past marathons and is again relying on support from Westwood friends, colleagues, and family to reach his latest fundraising goal.
• Westwood Owner of Stoughton and West Roxbury Restaurants to Plead Guilty to Federal Employment Tax Charges (town.news) — A Westwood resident who owns restaurants in Stoughton and West Roxbury has agreed to plead guilty to federal charges that he failed to withhold and pay required employment taxes. Prosecutors allege more than $580,000 in unpaid federal and state taxes, and note that the charges could carry prison time, supervised release, substantial fines, and restitution.
