Police Log: Facebook Violations, Burglary at Thompson Ave Home

Dec. 27, 7:49 a.m. - Westwood Police received a report from a Clapboardtree Street resident regarding harassing messages seen on Facebook.
Police said a message was sent to students at that did not rise to level of a criminal offense, but did prompt police to investigate.
Jewelry, Other Items Stolen
Dec. 27, 11:27 a.m. - A Thompson Ave. Student Reported to police that a number of items were discovered missing from their home.
Specifically, a gold ring, several gold bracelets and a gold choker necklace were stolen from the residence.
No forced entry to the residents was found, and the matter is under active investigation, police said.
