Suspicious Man Approaches Boys on Clapboardtree Street

Two Clapboardtree Street residents reported to police last week that a suspicious man approached them in their driveway.

On June 15, at around 7:26 p.m., the two boys, 12 and 9 years old, live at the residence, and said they were in the driveway playing, when the man, who was not known to the family, pulled into the driveway and introduced his 9-year-old son to the boys, asking them if his son could play. He then left the premises. 

Westwood Police then contacted the father, and told him that the incident had made the residents of the home uncomfortable. Police also notified the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families of the incident.
