Westwood Police Log: Attempted Break In at Credit Union, Wrentham Resident Arrested
A burglar alarm scared off some intruders at the Ukrainian Credit Union, police said.

According to reports, an incident occurred during which the phone wires to the Credit Union had been cut, and as a result, entry mwas made into the building. But a backup security alarm reportedly scared off the intruders, who were gone on arrival of the police.
Nothing was taken from the Credit Union and the incident is still under investigation.
Feb. 4, 4:37 p.m. - Police arrested a Wrentham resident on an outstanding warrant after a motor vehicle stop on Providence Highway/Rte. 1.
Kim Giordano, 61, of 400 Chestnut St. in Wrentham, was arrested on an outsanding warrant out of Attleboro Distric Court for operating a motor vehicle after suspension of a driver's license.
Giordano was brought to Westwood Police before being bailed, and was told to report to Attleboro Police the next day.
Feb. 24, 9:39 p.m. - While on routine patrol, a police officer observed seven young adults drinking a suspicious beverage in the area of Sunrise Road.
Police later confiscated a 30-pack of Bud Light beer; the young adults were not on the scene when the beer was confiscated.
