Westwood Police Log: False Sex Offense and Parking Lot Figure 8s

Westwood Police responded to a false sex offense and extensive damage to State Street Bank's parking lot.

July 21, 2:57 p.m. - Westwood Police responded to a sex offense allegation at Westwood Lodge Hospital. Police performed a full investigation, which included viewing of surveillance videos. The investigation found the allegations to be false based on video tape evidence.

July 25, 11:40 p.m. - Westwood Police responded to a complaint about cars spinning their tires at State Street Bank on Rosemont Street. Officers responded to the scene and found that there was extensive damage to the parking lot. Three adult males were summonsed including a 27-year-old male from North Easton, a 34-year-old male from South Easton and a 25 year old male from Brockton.

The perpitrators were summonsed for disturbing the peace and malicious damage to property. According to Westwood Police, there was a significant amount of damage being the parking lot, saying that it was more than a just a few donuts. Police reported that the lot was covered with figure 8s and that the recently painted white lines were completely ruined.
