Westwood Police Log: Motorists Cited for Driving Without License
Three motorists were stopped for driving with no or a suspended license.
Providence Highway
July 9, 9 p.m. – While patrolling the sound-bound side of Providence Highway, Westwood Police spotted a green 1994 Honda on the road. After researching the driver's license plate, police discovered that the operator was reported as not having a valid Massachusetts driver's license. As a result, the car was stopped and towed from the scene, and the operator was issued a citation for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

July 10, 9:30 p.m. – Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at the corner of Clapboardtree Street and Meadowbrook Road, where they pulled over a 1997 Buick for driving erratically, according to reports. Police then issued a citation to the owner of a the car for driving without a valid driver's license. The car was towed from the scene.
East Street and Washington Street

July 13, 1 a.m. – While driving along Caroll Avenue, Westwood Police witnessed a car pass, make a right turn and run a red light at the East Street/Washington Street intersection. Police then pulled over the 2010 Honda and issued the operator a citation for a red light violation and driving with a suspended license.
