Westwood Police Log: Party Busted, Windshield Smashed

Underage Party Broken Up
August 5, 11:59 p.m. - responded to a Locust Drive home after receiving a report of a loud party in the neighborhood.
Upon arrival, police determined that a small gathering of underage youths at a residence on the street had taken place
As a result, five individuals under the age of 21 were summonsed to court for being minors in possession of alcohol.
Windshield Broken on University Ave
August 6, 3:22 p.m. - Police received a report from an employee who works on University Avenue that the windshield of his truck had been smashed with a hammer.
Police took a report and are currently investigating video surveillance of the area.
The matter remains under investigation.
