Westwood Police Log: Tools Stolen From Truck, Resident Detained for Intoxication
A variety of tools were taken from the cab of a truck on University Ave., and a woman was protective custody for being too intoxicated.
March 5, 6:50 p.m. - Westwood Police are investigating the break in of a truck on University Avenue.
A number of items were taken from the truck, including a GPS unit and such various tools as a screwdriver, a socket wrench, pliers, wrenches, a hammer, and nails. The matter remains under investigation.
March 7, 4:28 p.m. - A resident of Sherman Way called police to request assistance with a family member who was under the influence of liquor.
Upon arrival, police placed a 24-year-old, who was in fact under the influence, female into protective custody.
