Westwood Police Log: Van Stolen, Illegal Dumping

Van Stolen from Blue Hill Drive

July 8, 11:33 a.m. - A resident of Blue Hill Drive reported to that his black 2008 Ford Van was missing from the driveway where he had left it the night before.

The van was reportedly parked in the driveway, and the keys to the van were reportedly on the trunk of another car parked in the garage of the home. 

It was not immediately clear if the garage was open at the time. The matter remains under investigation. 

Tires Dumped on Providence Highway

July 8, 1:18 p.m. - Westwood Police received a report from the property manager of 89 Providence Hwy that tires had been illegally dumped behind the property. 

The property manager requested extra police patrol of the area to ensure the matter doesn't recur.
