Westwood Police Log: Vehicles Collide on Nahatan St., Car Hits Pole on East St.
Two vehicles collided on Nahatan Street and another car hit a utility pole near the East Street rotary.

January 13, 2:56 p.m. – Westwood Police responded to Nahatan Street after an accident occurred between a 2001 Dodge and a 2004 Toyota.
The vehicles collided after the Toyota, which was traveling south on Nahatan Street, failed to yield for the Dodge, which was exiting the parking lot.
Neither vehicle was towed; no injuries were reported.

January 13, 3:12 p.m. – Police responded to the area of East Street and Smith Drive, where a 2008 Toyota reportedly hit a utility pole.
The vehicle had been traveling west on East Street, according to police, when it crossed the double yellow lines into the oncoming lane. The car then struck a snow bank and continued into the utility pole. The operator reported solar glare had caused decreased visibility on the road.

The vehicle was towed, as it sustained front-end damage. No one was injured in the accident.
