UPDATE: Many Weymouth Roads Remain Unplowed and Slippery

UPDATE  12:45 p.m.: Many of the main roads in Weymouth remained unplowed.  Washington Street, Middle Street, and Quincy Avenue are all very difficult to drive on. Both sides of Route 3 are not any better.

After initial predictions called for about 1 to 4 inches of snow Thursday into Friday, the storm battering much of Massachusetts dropped several more inches on Hingham than expected and is still going Friday morning.

The poor conditions forced the closing of Weymouth Public Schools, according to CBS.

Another one inch is expected to fall during the day Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Skies should clear later tonight with temperatures expected in the 40s with sunny skies Saturday.
