Wilmington Cases Drop Back Down After Resurgence
The town is back down to five active cases, as of Monday, the Health Department reported.
WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington's confirmed coronavirus case count has resumed its decline, the Health Department reported Monday. Just five residents have active cases as of Monday, down from nine Friday.
Only two residents are in quarantine for potential exposure.
On June 22, the town had just one confirmed active case, but that gradually increased to nine, Friday, with four residents in quarantine.

In the virus's first wave in town, dozens of residents at long-term care facilities died.
