Spring Kaleidoscope, a unique exhibit combining watercolor paintings and lamp designs, opens May 3 at the Latanision Art Studio and Gallery, 500 West Cummings Park, Suite 1425.
Winchester artist Carolyn Latanision will exhibit her watercolor paintings, each coordinated with a lamp created by Pennsylvania designer Judith Allen.
Using spring as their theme, the pair has captured the seasonal mood through texture and color, bringing warmth, ambiance, uitility and art to an interior design plan.

Latanision is known for her work in watercolor. She is a Master in the Copley Society of Art in Boston as well as a signature member of The National Watercolor Society and other national art groups. She has also taught watercolor privately since 1980.

Allen has been designing heirloom quality lamps for over twenty years, both during and following her career in the Boston medical community. She lives in Pennsylvania, where her business, Judy Allen Lamps is located.
Exhibit times: May 3 and 4, 4 to 8 p.m.; Saturday May 5, Artist Reception, 2 to 8 p.m.; suncay, May 6, noon to 3 p.m.
