Winchester Man Arraigned for Perjury in Connection With Tewksbury House Party Assault

WINCHESTER, MA — A Winchester man and a Tewksbury woman have been arraigned on a perjury charge in connection with the assault case involving a former Tewksbury wrestling champion stemming from an alleged assault at a Tewksbury house party, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office.

Amanda Ferreria, 19, of Tewksbury and Fox Maxwell, 19, of Winchester are accused of submitting false testimony in connection with the July 3 assault. Broc Dokos, 19, of Lawrence is accused of assaulting another man causing serious injuries to the victim.

The defendants were released on their own personal recognizance by Clerk Magistrate Matthew Day Tuesday in Middlesex Superior Court. Ferreria was Dokos' girlfriend at the time, and Maxwell was described as Dokos' friend.

“Both of these defendants gave allegedly false testimony to the court compromising the integrity of an ongoing investigation and the judicial process,” said District Attorney Marian Ryan in a statement.

The DA's office alleges that both Ferreria and Maxwell testified they were present during the incident, they witnessed the incident and said that the victim was the initial aggressor in the incident. The DA's office further alleges that both Ferreria's and Maxwell's testimony were found to be false, and that neither were present at the party.

The Division 2 State Wrestling Champion was placed into custody on July 4 after an alleged attack left the victim temporarily unconscious and with broken bones, according to Tewksbury police.

According to the District Attorney's Office, the next hearing in the perjury case is Feb. 3 for a pretrial conference.
