“Thank you for providing me this opportunity to serve you and our children. I have tried to live up to your expectations and express my gratitude for your trust in this most important position.”
“As a veteran member of our school board, I have had the opportunity to work with many dedicated individuals.”
"Together we have faced a number of challenges, including building and updating our schools, academic requirements of MCAS, contract negotiations and much more”
"Just recently we had to meet a budgetary figure that represented an equitable portion of the City’s budget.”
“Again, working together, we did this. We have preserved the integrity of the Woburn Public School system, something everyone can be proud of. Just recently we reached agreement with the WTA for a new three year contract."
"The much needed replacement of the Goodyear School is now a reality. This has not been an easy task but after careful planning and community support we can now look forward to having our children benefit from the latest technology in a modern facility.”
“Our success depends on the qualified and dedicated staff we have, students willing to be challenged and give it their all, parents who will get involved, and you the citizens of Woburn who have made the moral and financial commitment for a better tomorrow.”
“There will always be challenges in every aspect of providing a sound educational system. Experience is what makes a difference in these uncertain economical times. What I bring to the table is experience, leadership, a sense of fairness and an understanding of what our children need to achieve success.”
“With dedication and commitment I will continue to work for the community as a member of your School Committee and as I have said before, I hope that I have earned 1 of your 5 School Committee votes.”
