Build a Better Lunch Box

It’s back to school time! As attentions turn to making sure kids have packed the right school supplies for the classroom, it’s just as important to make sure what they have healthy lunches packed for the lunchroom. Following the USDA’s new “MyPlate” guide to healthier eating, reconfiguring the plate is key.  Ideally, half of the lunchbox should be fruits and vegetables, and  the other half split between protein and whole grains.
