Hurld Math Bee Fundraiser*

Hurld PTO will be running the Math Bee Challenge Fundraiser* from January 30th to Feb 10th. This will be our biggest fundraiser of the year, an Educational Math Challenge. A Math Bee Challenge fundraiser is one in which the students solicit donations for each correctly solved math problem on an age-appropriate test. All of our students will participate and have an opportunity to study and learn! This is aligned with preparations for MCAS, so we can add excitement to the learning process for our children. We also had a wonderful math enrichment program last week, Mad About Math, which helped to encourage the children to think about math in a fun, positive way!

A number of local businesses have supported this Fundraiser and we are hoping that the community also supports our children when they are approached for pledges.

This year our primary goal for this fundraiser is to cover our budgeted expenses such as the annual scholarship, enrichment programs, field trip buses, and field day T-shirts for students.
