Celebrating over 90 years of excellence in fashion education, The School of Fashion Design is the only educational institution in New England dedicated exclusively to the study of fashion design. SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. For creatives and textile arts enthusiasts, SFD offers workshops in various fiber arts such as weaving, lace making, embroidery, millinery, upcycling, and more. The Japanese people gave Reiki to the West.  Now Japan needs our help recovering from their triple devastation  earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear meltdown.  Please help give back the love and healing they gave to us so many years ago! In Reiki II you learn to send Reiki anywhere ~ to the next room or to the other side of the planet.  The last hour of class will be devoted to learning and then performing the Gassho Meditation which Dr. Usui taught his students to do morning and night, followed by class sending a "Reiki Tsunami" to help Japan recover. Class will be followed by dinner at a local renown Chinese/Japanese restaurant. (Optional) Prerequisite:  Reiki Level One Fee: New Students:  $325, saving $60 off the regular fee of $385! In addition,  Starr will donate 10% of the fees she collects to Doctors Without Borders with a card that everyone at class may sign.
