• Free, On-Demand Microtransit System Coming To Woburn, Burlington, Reading, Wakefield (patch.com) — Woburn residents will soon be able to request free, on-demand electric rides through The Link, a new microtransit pilot serving local destinations in town and nearby communities. Operated by Circuit and funded by a state grant, the service connects Woburn with Burlington and regional hospitals, offering an alternative to personal cars via a simple app or phone call. 
• School Committee adopts new policy governing ICE encounter protocols (homenewshere.com) — Woburn's School Committee has adopted a new state-mandated policy that blocks ICE agents from entering school grounds or school events without a judicial warrant and restricts staff from sharing student information. The rules also require notifying parents if federal agents seek contact with a minor and clarify that only designated administrators may interact with ICE, aiming to protect students, families, and staff.
