4 Boys Accused Of Attempted Armed Robbery In Worcester

Officers recovered two guns after the incident, police said.

WORCESTER, MA — Four males were arrested following an attempted armed robbery in Worcester, according to the Worcester Police Department.

Worcester police responded to Laurel Street for reports of an assault with a firearm around 6:15 p.m. on Monday. A victim told officers that four males in a car approached and attempted to rob him while showing a gun, police said.

The suspected vehicle was found and stopped by officers on Orient Street, police said. Multiple officers assisted with the high-risk stop.

The four juvenile males were removed from the car and arrested. A handgun was also recovered from one of the males, and an additional gun was found in the vehicle, police said.

The Crime Scene Unit recovered the firearms.

All four of them were charged accordingly, according to police. Police did not share the names of the minors, and what charges they may be facing.
