Beloved Irish Pub In Worcester Abruptly Closing Days Before St. Patrick's Day
The iconic landmark in the city announced it wouldn't reopen on Wednesday.

WORCESTER, MA — An iconic Irish pub in Worcester is closing for good after more than 30 years serving customers in the city.
O’Connor’s Restaurant & Bar announced it will close its doors just days before St. Patrick’s Day. The longtime staple for many celebrating the holiday in the city said the closure comes after a recent burst pipe and rising business costs.
“Through many difficult times we’ve given it our very best to carry on this beloved landmark, but the latest challenges have led us to the end of our journey,” the business wrote in a statement on its website.
