Beloved Stand-up Comedian Coming To Worcester

He was once named the "Number One Partier in the Nation" by Rolling Stone.

WORCESTER, MA — A popular stand-up comedian is coming to Worcester this fall.

Comedian Bert Kreischer is bringing his "Permission to Party World Tour" to Central Massachusetts, with a stop at The Hanover Theatre. The show, which is set for Nov. 14 at 7 p.m., is part of newly added dates extending the tour through the end of 2026.

Kreischer, who first gained national attention as Rolling Stone’s “Number One Partier in the Nation,” has since become one of the highest-grossing stand-up comedians in the world. He continues to do stand-up, alongside film, television and podcasts.

He was named by Forbes as “one of the best storytellers of his generation.”

His Netflix special "Lucky" was released in Mar. 2025. He also starred in the Sony Pictures film “The Machine,” based on his stand-up story, and recently launched the Netflix scripted series “Free Bert,” which debuted in 2026 and was quickly renewed for a second season.

Tickets for the Worcester show are on sale now through The Hanover Theatre box office.

Meanwhile, two other comedy stars are heading to Worcester this spring.

"America's Got Talent" finalist Gina Brillon will perform as a comedy show at the BrickBox Theater on May 8, while "Saturday Night Live" veteran Colin Quinn will perform live at Tuckerman Hall on Mar. 7.

Both shows are presented by The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts.

Most recently, in February, legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld, best known for his iconic sitcom 'Seinfeld,' came to Worcester for two live stand-up shows at the Hanover Theatre
