Hundreds Of Grams Of Meth, Other Drugs Seized In Worcester
Police seized two guns and a large amount of illegal narcotics.
WORCESTER, MA — A major drug bust in the city led the Worcester Police Department's Crime Gun Intelligence Unit to uncover two firearms and a large amount of drugs.
An investigation involving multiple agencies led to the execution of a search warrant at a home on Pleasant Street at around 9:20 a.m. on Monday. The WPD SWAT team entered the apartment to execute the warrant.
The target of the warrant was 31-year-old Michael Harris. Inside the apartment, officers found two firearms, including one that was previously reported stolen, and ammunition.

Detectives also seized a large amount of drugs, including 95.4 grams of Fentanyl. 112.5 grams of Methamphetamine, 497 grams of Cocaine and packaging materials. There was also cash totaling $1,368.
Harris now faces a number of charges including posession of a firearm without a firearms identification card (two counts), posession of ammunition without a firearms identification card, trafficking class B over 200 grams, trafficking in Methamphetamine over 100 grams, use of a firearm in commission of a felony (three counts), receiving stolen property, improper storage of a firearm, and posession of a firearm without a serial number.
