Popular Fast-food Spot To Open Third Marlborough Location

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A popular fast food spot known for its burgers, chicken nuggets and fries is set to open in Marlborough.

McDonald's plans to open another store in the city at 771 Boston Post Rd. East, real estate development group, RK Centers, announced on Friday.

The eatery is one of the world’s largest and most recognizable fast-food restaurant chains. In the U.S. alone, McDonald's has about 13,500 locations.

The chain will move into the Marlboro Commons, marking the business's third in the city. Other McDonald's locations are at 250 Maple St. and at 155 Boston Post Rd. West, according to the business's website.

Marlboro Commons is also home to Home Depot, Staples and Dollar Tree. The 222,000 square-foot shopping destination on Route 20 was renovated in 2005, according to WS Development.

The real estate development group did not share when the McDonald's would open, but confirmed it was coming soon.
