Trump Hosting Town Hall In MI: Where To Watch
The event comes just days after the FBI said a gunman tried to assassinate Trump at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.

FLINT, MI — Former President Donald Trump will hold a town hall Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Dort Financial Center in Flint.
Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders will moderate the event, which will largely be focused on the auto industry and the economy.
The event will be aired across multiple major news networks, including Fox News, MSNBC, and C-SPAN. Their websites and applications will also offer livestreaming options for viewers.

"The auto industry is the backbone of Michigan’s economy, and Kamala Harris’ actions have only shown that she will destroy it," Trump campaign officials said in a statement. "If Kamala Harris has her way with a gas-powered car ban, Michigan will lose, at minimum, nearly 40,000 jobs."
The event comes just days after the FBI said a gunman tried to assassinate Trump at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. Trump was also the target of another suspected assassination attempt while speaking at a campaign rally near Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.

Trump has been in Michigan a lot lately, including his last stop in late August when he visited Potterville and spoke about the economy.
The event will come a week after the first Harris-Trump debate. Though the candidates hardly mentioned Michigan, there were several key topics that were tied to Michigan.
Trump's visit will also come just days after Democratic vice presidential candidate and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz stopped in Michigan. He was in Grand Rapids on Thursday and was scheduled to visit Lansing Friday morning.
"Donald Trump failed Michigan workers and killed Michigan jobs as President—and on Tuesday, Michiganders will see the same thing they saw on the debate stage: an unhinged, angry old man who is only focused on himself, and doesn’t have a single solution to offer to make their lives better, President of Communications Director for the Michigan Harris-Walz Campaign Alyssa Bradley said in a statement ahead of Trump's visit.
"Instead, Trump’s Project 2025 agenda would raise costs on middle-class families by nearly $4,000 a year, send inflation skyrocketing, and send jobs overseas, just like he did last time. Only one candidate in this race has a record of creating jobs in Michigan and has real plans to lower costs for families, and that’s Kamala Harris," she added.
Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to hold a campaign event Tuesday in the Detroit area. She was last in Michigan on Labor Day when she spoke to a group of union leaders and workers in Detroit.
