The BHS Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Alan Posner, performed for active duty military and veterans on November 8 as part of the Military Appreciation Day at Berkley High School. Selections included Chuck Mangione’s “Children of Sanchez” and Bob Haggart’s “Big Noise from Winnetka.” In addition to honored guests and Berkley School District administrators, the audience also included Berkley High School history students and faculty, who sponsored the entertainment, breakfast and other events during the day.
