• Man dies after being pinned under construction truck in Birmingham (clickondetroit.com) — A 57-year-old Dearborn Heights man died Friday after becoming trapped beneath a construction truck on Redding Road near Woodward and Quarton in Birmingham. Police say he was checking a malfunctioning lift axle when the system re-engaged, and the department has extended condolences to his family while investigating the circumstances.
