Police took a report Thursday from a woman who said she was parking her vehicle in the parking lot of the strip mall when a black male in his 40s or 50s offered her $100,000 and then attempted to pull her out of her vehicle. She told police she fought him off, then saw him get into a red panel van without license plates.

The woman told police that while she was inside the QDOBA restaurant being attended by management, the suspect returned and walked in the restaurant, where he reportedly approached and made an offer to a woman standing in line before attempting to lure her outside to the van.

The second intended victim refused and the suspect left the area in the red van, and police said they want to talk to her about the encounter.

The suspect, shown below in a surveillance photo, is about 6 feet to 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds. He has a distinctive mole outside one of his eyes, short black hair and a thick, trimmed mustache, and was wearing a black knit hat, a green Army-style jacket and dark pants at the time of the alleged abduction attempts.

No description is available for the second suspect, who was inside the red panel van, which reportedly didn’t have rear windows. The make and model are unknown, and there were no license plates on the van.
