Weird Michigan: Nakedly Angry | Blended Animal Family | Squatter Nearly Crushed
Also, school lockdown was likely based on a lie, and the governor's promise to drink Flint water doesn't hold water.

DETROIT, MI – It’s Saturday, and time to get weird. Here’s a roundup of some of the stories with a weird twist in Michigan last week.
Nakedly Angry
If police in Bloomfield Township know why a Rochester Hills man took off his clothes before he allegedly trashed a former family member’s house, they’re not saying. But that’s the unclothed state they found him in when he was allegedly turning over furniture, smashing china and causing other mayhem that resulted in flooding. The damage totaled about $50,000, police said.
Fighting Like Cats and Dogs? Nope.
Everyone’s heard the cliche “fighting like cats and dog,” but that didn’t happen when Gwen, a cat, adopted Bobby a 2-day-old orphaned Chihuahua.

An animal rescue group decided to test whether the cat, who was still nursing her litter, would make room for the dog. She did, and the blended family is getting along just fine.
Stop the Crusher! There’s Someone In Here!
A Pontiac man was nearly crushed to death after taking up temporary residence in a trailer set for demolition, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office. Crushing had already started when crews heard the man screaming and stopped the operation.

Police said he had been told to stay away from the property, where other a house had already been torn down.
He suffered multiple broken bones and a deep cut to his head, police said.
Schools Locked Down Over Likely Lie
Police in Birmingham said they can’t find any evidence that a story a real-estate agent told about being robbed at knifepoint by a masked intruder actually happened. The woman’s story caused three elementary schools to be go on temporary lockdown earlier this month.
The woman’s story unraveled when she was unable to explain how she freed herself from the basement she said she had been locked in by the intruder.
Pledge to Drink Flint Water Won’t Hold Water
Gov. Rick Snyder promised the people of Flint that he would drink filtered water from the city’s taps for 30 days to boost flagging confidence in the city’s lead-tainted water supply.
Snyder didn’t say he would drink Flint water for 30 consecutive days. A spokesperson said it’s not feasible for Snyder to travel to Europe with jugs of Flint water — or even allowable — and that he’ll start drinking the water again when he returns to Lansing.
Weird. Was the trip just sprung on him Friday after he made the bold promise earlier in the week?
