Final Dearborn Primary Election Results Aug. 8, 2017: O'Reilly, Tafelski Advance
Dearborn mayor faces four opponents, Dearborn Heights mayor has two challengers in the Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, primary election.
DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn Mayor John B. O’Reilly and City Council President Pro Tem Thomas Tafelski are both advancing to the November general election. With 100 percent of mayoral votes counted, O'Reilly led with 44 percent, while Tafelski received 33 percent of the vote.
In Dearborn Heights, current city council member Lisa Hicks-Clayton won the right to challenge incumbent Mayor Daniel Paletko.
Those advancing to the November general election are marked in bold and designated with an asterisk*.
